American Goldfinch
American Goldfinch - "Carduelis tristis" (Newark, Delaware, 2006)
Hummingbird
The hummingbirds belong to the family Trochilidae, order Apodiformes. This is my first try to photograph a hummingbird. It is not easy because they fly away extremely fast at the slightest noise (such as the shutter release) and they flap their wings 15 to 80 times a second so that motion blur is guaranteed in low light.
