As Halloween approaches, the NYC Parks organized the Pumpkin festival in Central Park:

New York’s Village Halloween Parade was in its 33rd year. It was the first time since I have been in New York that I could attend and it was GREAT, also because the organizers were kind enough to offer me a press pass. So I was in the middle of everything. See parade pictures album…

It was Halloween again. The word Halloween is the short version of All-hallow-even, as it is the evening before “All Hallows’ Day”.
