During this second trip to the Museum of Natural History, I took several pictures posted in the New York 2008 gallery. If interested, take a look at the photo collection in their research library. This is the one place where you never doubt about evolution.

Just testing a wireless flash in the living room, but I liked how this picture turned out.

The first picture shows the elevator shaft in the Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square. It takes less than 30 seconds for the 49 floors (see also here a picture while in the elevators taken last year).

The McGraw-Hill building (on the right side) is my workplace. At the time this picture was taken, it was the 45th tallest building in Manhattan with 51 floors and 207 meters height.

A colleague lent me the Canon 10-22 EF-S for a week; I was not at all impressed by picture quality and sharpness, but this is really wide. Here is a Midtown street crossing under rain:
